What will the studio and outdoor Music Together classes be like this fall?
First of all, they will include the same high-quality music experiences parents and children around the world have come to expect from Music Together. Families will still receive the award-winning semester recordings, the beautifully illustrated songbooks, and access to the "Hello Everybody!" app and "Family Music Zone". For the "in-studio" classes, the main difference will be the size of the class. In accordance with the Workhouse Arts Center guidelines, we're limiting the class size to six families. This will allow everybody plenty of space while getting to experience a LIVE class. Masks are being required for everyone 2 years old and above. Each family will have a designated space in the classroom. The maximum number of people in a classroom beginning June 1st will be 12, so one parent or caregiver can attend with their child.
Our outdoor classes will be larger and include up to 12 students. There will still be plenty of room for social distancing between families. Masks are NOT required for our outdoor classes.
Classes will look a little different, but we believe the mental, emotional, social, educational and family benefits are well worth the adaptations to the program so that we can serve our precious families well. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us.
Music Together Worldwide is an internationally recognized, research-based music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and the adults who love them! Each week in Music Together classrooms around the world, children and grown-ups gather to make music as a community. Offered at more than 3,000 locations and 40 countries, our early childhood music classes give families with children from 8 months through age 5, the chance to engage together in teacher led, high-quality, musical experiences.
Each fun-filled class is a community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and developmentally appropriate movement activities in a relaxed and playful environment, while developing basic music competence. Little ones love playing along in class, and their caregivers love being a part of their children's growth into joyful, confident music makers. It's a whole lot of fun for the whole family!
Our Mommy and Me- or Daddy and Me- classes are located at the Workhouse Arts Center, servicing families in Lorton, Springfield, Fairfax Station, Occoquan, Woodbridge, Lakeridge and Dale City.
What are others saying about KidSing Music Together?
have taken 3 sessions of Music Together with Shannon, and
have absolutely loved every minute of it! The Music Together music is
wonderful, & Shannon's creativity brings the songs to life during
class time. Our whole family loves to sing & dance to the music and incorporate what we learn into the home setting. I've
seen tremendous musical growth in my daughter and feel that we are
